ALERT- To avoid becoming the victim of identity theft please do not give your social security number, credit card information, or other sensitive information to anyone that may contact you through this site. Upon being hired through this site it will be necessary to provide your social security number to your new employer, but not before.
We strongly recommend that you omit your name, and all contact information from your resume(s) stored on our site. If a potential employer is interested in contacting you there is an anonymous contact feature that will alert you via the email address used when registering. Once contacted by a potential employer via the site you may decide, at your risk, whether to share any personal information with the correspondent.
Eligibility
You must be at 18 years of age to use this site. Use of this site indicates a clear understanding of the terms of use and privacy policy. You must be eligible to work in the United States.
Use of Content
You can not use the content of the site with any intent other than finding a job, earning a reward, or finding an employee. Due to the networking nature of this site it is strictly prohibited to forward a job listing to any individual that would violate anti-spamming laws. If they do not know you then do not forward them a job listing.
The content of the site, including all job postings, is a copyright (the property) of HireWorth, Inc., and can not be used by a anyone other than HireWorth, Inc. for commercial gain.
HireWorth, Inc. does not usually monitor the site's content. If you feel that there is an abusive use of the site that violates these terms of use please use the "report abuse" link for a specific job posting or use the "contact" link to report the abuse.
Site Restrictions
Users may not use the site to transmit information, including without limitation, (a) in violation of any applicable law or regulation, (b) in a manner that will infringe the copyright or trademark of others or violate the privacy or other personal rights of others, or (c) that is defamatory, obscene, or threatening.
Users may not attempt to access, (a) information on the site that is password protected, or (b) data stored on secure servers.
Private Information
When you register to use the site it is necessary to disclose your name, address, phone number, and a valid email address. The site makes every effort to keep this information private (see privacy policy). Occasionally we will use your information to contact you with updates to the site and for special offers. Jobseeker information is only made available to employers, and only if this information is displayed in a stored resume. All resumes posted to the site are public. Employer information is a matter of public record and will be displayed as such.
It is the sole responsibility of the users to keep any private information safe and HireWorth, Inc. will not be responsible for the misuse of private information. Use of the site is as with any other website is at your own risk.
Employers
The annual fee is due before you can begin posting jobs. This fee covers a period from the date the payment is received until mid-night on the 364 day. Any jobs posted during this time will be permitted to run through their individual expiration dates.
Rewards are due on your new hire's first day. If the new hire does not stay a full 60 calendar days, then the full reward amount will be returned.
On the 61st day of employment the remainder of the HireWorth fees are due by credit card unless (a) the 61st day falls on a weekend, in which case, the fees are due by credit card on the Monday following the 61st day of employment, or (b) your account was set up for billing. Billed accounts must pass a credit check and final say on bill status is at the sole discretion of the CEO.
No refunds will be made to the employer after the reward and HireWorth fees have been paid.
Failure to pay on time may result in one or more of the following: (a) incur finance charges, (b) suspension of site usage, (c) lifetime ban from site usage, (d) account turned over for collection, (e) lawsuit.
Jobseekers
Use of the site for anything other that finding a job or securing a referral reward is strictly prohibited.
Rewards will be paid by check and will be mailed to the user(s) that provided the successful referral once the referred user completes 60 calendar days of service to the employer that offered the reward. If the employer that offered the reward defaults on their agreement to pay fees for a successful referral then no payment will be made to the user(s) that provided the successful referral. In the event of employer non-payment the defaulting employer will be sanctioned as outlined above. If payment is secured from the defaulting employer in the future then payment to the user(s) that provided the successful referral will be sent upon HireWorth, Inc. securing the full payment.
Payments from HireWorth, Inc. to user(s) that provide successful referrals will not be taxed. The user(s) social security number will be required for HireWorth, Inc. to report payments when filing corporate taxes. The reporting of rewards as income will be the responsibility of the user.
Staffing Companies/Head Hunters
Job postings are permitted on the site, but you are required to identify your posting as coming from a "Non-Direct Employer."
Any referrals made by Staffing Companies/Head Hunters will be paid 80% of the actual referral amount with the other 20% going to the HireWorth, Inc. Scholarship Fund.
HireWorth, Inc. Scholarship Fund
The site will donate 10% of all gross profits and 20% of rewards earned by Staffing Companies/Headhunters to a scholarship fund for users. A user may apply for consideration by using the link "Scholarship" on the homepage. Scholarship(s) will be awarded annually at the end of the fiscal year in March. The number and amount of scholarships will depend of the total amount in the fund. The number of scholarships offered will be divisible by the total amount in the fund and the minimum $25,000 scholarship. Any amount less than $25,000 in the fund will be carried over to the following fiscal year's scholarship awards.
To qualify users must be registered members of the site, submit an online application, and refer a minimum two jobs per month using the site. The applications will be reviewed by members of the board of directors from HireWorth, Inc. The scholarships will be awarded to the individual(s) that the board feels could benefit most based on the application submitted. The applications will be completely anonymous to prevent inadvertent bias. The decision of the board is final.
Scholarships will be paid in one lump sum of $25,000 to the user(s) selected by the board. User(s) can apply once per account, per year and can only be awarded the scholarship one time.

HireWorth.com is set to launch on January 1, 2008 in the RTP area of North Carolina (Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill). In preparation for our launch we encourage you to create your profile and post your resume. For each resume posted before our launch date you will be entered to win a third generation iPod nano.
We also encourage you to help us find a Chief Marketing Officer. For each referral you make prior to our launch date you will be entered to win round trip airfare for two from RDU to Las Vegas, Nevada.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, follow the directions in each contest. To be eligible, entries must be completed and received on or by 11:59 P.M. PST on January 31, 2008. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. HireWorth, Inc. is not responsible for lost, misdirected or delayed entries. Winners will be announced once verified, during the first week of February 2008.
CONTEST RULES
1. The contest is open to individuals aged 18 years old or over. Employees of HireWorth, Inc., and employees' family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest.
2. The prize(s) is/are not redeemable for cash and must be accepted as awarded.
3. Decisions of the contest judges are final - no substitutions will be available.
4. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet) which HireWorth, Inc. may deem appropriate.
5. In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that HireWorth, Inc. may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this/these prize(s).
6. HireWorth, Inc. retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
7. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
8. HireWorth, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.
9. Approximate value of prizes varies.
